Specific methods of quartz sand filter material hardness test:

The scratch hardness of quartz sand filter material is also called Mohs hardness tester. Mainly used for hardness and softness of different minerals. The method is to first select a component with one hard end and one soft end, then cross the tested material along the component, and determine the hardness and flexibility of the tested material according to the length of the scratch. In terms of quality, hard objects have long scratches and soft objects have short scratches.

Hardness of quartz sand filter material. Mainly used in metal materials and quartz sand materials. The method is to put the tension of the specification into the tested material at the load effect, and compare the hardness and softness of the tested material with the partial plastic deformation of the material surface.

Because the tension, load and load duration are different, there are many kinds of indentation hardness, such as Brinell hardness, Rockwell hardness, Vickers hardness and microscope hardness.

White quartz sand For acid pickling and passivation quartz sand and ordinary quartz sand, different customer requirements can be considered.

Quartz sand filter material is made of natural quartz iron ore through crushing, selection, cleaning and other processes. Its shape is prismatic, spherical and white, and it has the advantages of high impact toughness, strong sewage interception ability and good alkali resistance.

Pure white sand The filter material has the filtering effect, just like the water penetrates into the road according to the gravel, blocking the suspended solids in the water, mainly the fine suspended solids.

1、 The sum of bulk density and wear amount of quartz sand filter material shall not be greater than 3% of dryness.

2、 The relative density of quartz sand filter material shall not be less than 2.55g/cm3. Unless there are special requirements for the application of relative density.

3、 Quartz sand filter material shall be free of visible soil, biotite and organic chemical residues, and the water extract of filter material shall be free of toxic substances, and the powder content shall not exceed 1%. The composition of light substances with relative density less than 2G/cm3 shall not exceed 0.2%.

4、 The fire damage of quartz sand filter material is not more than 0.7%, and the solubility of sulfuric acid is not more than 3.5%.
